My photographic work mainly focuses on exploring my personal connections during the everyday encounters with landscapes, objects, people and settings.
Through thought, light, form, colour or what they represent, I engage with the subject. Over the time, one image brings me to the next and I end up narrating a visual story of images in a dialogue with each other.
One of the qualities I appreciate about the medium is that it doesn’t have a narrative convention. It allows me to decide how to start and end a series as I have the room flexibility.
Most of my work consists of 6 x 7 format analogue, black and white negative film. Recently I have been engaging with color and digital.
